The easy, tree-lined path reaches Chigliani after crossing a small stream.
There are two options for the return journey:
- return along the same path;
- walk gently back down by road, making it a circular walk.
💧 On the way back by road, you will pass the Chigliani fountain, ideal for a short stop and a drink of water.

🥾 The old road to Muna
Starting from Pont de Belfiore, the old mule track that once linked Vico and Muna initially follows the left bank of the Liamone before climbing towards the village.
More experienced walkers can continue all the way to Muna.
For less keen walkers, there is no need to go that far: simply follow the path beside the river, enjoy the scenery and turn back whenever you wish.
💦 Several places allow you to get close to the river and, depending on conditions, enjoy a swim.
A walk for everyone
This walk is easy to adapt: spend a few dozen minutes beside the water for a short outing, or complete the full hike to Muna if you want something more challenging.
